As a part of the New Europe Travel Show, produced and hosted by Michael Palin, a member of the Monty Python cast, Michael Palin was a guest at the Automobile Museum and of Bratislav Petkovic. Michael Palin expressed his wish to drive the Schwimmwagen VW-166 amphibious vehicle model 1943.
They drove it around Belgrade and finally launched the vehicle into the Sava River. This broadcast was aired on BBC, and had great viewer response.
